![]() The meals were fine, the runners were very efficient, however, the manner in which we were treated was less than coridal and gracious. ![]() I had already given my AmEx to the hostess. Our server asked if we were staying in the hotel or if we would pay with a credit card or cash. We had ordered drinks and appetizers for the table. We were ordering several full meal items and ala carte items. We offered to pay a non kids menu price, explained the dietary tastes, etc to no avail-until the manager came over-no, we did not wish to have any confrontation! In any case, he generously gave us permisssion. What a surprise when we were advised that the young people must be 12 years old or younger to use that menu. "No problem" according to the person taking the reservation. We asked ahead about a Kids Menu as we had some teens that would not order from the regular menu. Last evening, we called ahead for a reservation for 7 people. Then the conistency of food and service dropped off precipitously. For a period of time it was the "go to" venue for a celebration of. In the 15 years that I have been a resident of Vero Beach, this restaurant seems to have had many cycles.
